Call to Order

Meeting called to order at 3:00 by Youth Council President (Olivia Harris)

Old Business

  • Volunteers Appreciation 

    • Babysitting
      • Youth Council is babysitting at the Volunteer Appreciation Banquet and are looking for kids over 11 years of age to help. Council discussed having multiple shifts, one being 4-6pm for decorating which Chloe, Meghan, Aurora, and Megan volunteered for. A shift from 6-10 for babysitting which Chloe, Meghan, Lindsay, Hannah, Aurora, and Megan volunteered for. And a final shift from 1011 for tear down which Chloe, Meghan, Aurora, and Megan volunteered for. 
  • County Events 

    • Quality Assurance
      • Shalee moved for it to be a County Event, Sage seconded. The vote failed and made Quality Assurance is NOT a County Event. 
    • Horse Practice Show
      • Hannah made a motion for it to be a County event, Meghan seconded. Vote passed, the Horse Practice Show IS a County Event. 

New Business

  • Indoor Fair Exhibit Set-Up

    • Council discussed if we want to organize the Indoor Exhibits by Club or by Project. Chloe moved for it to be arranged by Project, Sage seconded. Vote passed. 
  • Record Book Incentives 

    • Council discussed ways to get people to complete their record books, the following incentives are to be enacted in the next 4-H year. Sage moved to not allow Outdoor kids to show their animal if they haven’t kept up on their record books, Chloe seconded. Vote passed. Chloe moved to not allow Indoor Kids to get interviewed if they haven’t kept up on their record books, Sage seconded. Vote passed. 
  • Future meeting Dates

    • Sage moved to meet every 3rd Sunday of the month at 3pm, Meghan seconded. Vote passed. 
  • Ambassador Applications 

    • Deadline is April 15th

  • Outdoor meeting, April 8th/ Extension Office at 5:30 pm
  • Council Meeting, April 10th / BHB at 6:00 pm
  • Quality Assurance, March 31st / BHB at 6:00 pm
