Abbey Boyer

Abbey Boyer is a disco diva on the dance floor and a graduate student in the counseling program. She earned a minor in Contemporary Dance with her bachelors degree and has been teaching dance cardio for the past 9 years. She also teaches cycle classes and is a certified group fitness instructor. Her classes are easy to follow, fun, and empowering - all levels of experience welcome!

Becky Stanton

Becky is the Scholarships Coordinator and Communications Specialist for the College of Education, Health and Human Development. She has been a Zumba instructor for over 12 years, and always encourages those in her class to always “do you.” Outside of work, she loves attending other dance fitness classes, singing in the Bozeman Symphonic Choir, doing anything arts and crafts, gardening, watching TV shows, going to movies, traveling, and going on adventures. One of her best adventures and one of her biggest feats, was biking all the way up to the Weeping Wall in Glacier National Park.

Jocelyn Larson

As a Senior Coordinator of Fitness and Wellness at MSU Campus Recreation, Jocelyn’s coaching integrates a beautiful balance of mindset and skill. Her career has allowed her to incorporate two things that she loves: education and wellbeing. Receiving both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of New Hampshire she continued her journey of learning by earning personal training, group fitness, and yoga certifications. Jocelyn believes physical fitness is a lifestyle that requires a level of self awareness, self-love and passion. She enjoys skiing, mountain biking, backpacking, fishing, running, reading and spending time with her family.

Ali Cole

Ali Cole has been teaching MSU Gf classes since 2015 and thoroughly enjoys interacting with each student. She appreciates that each person has differing abilities and works to help each one reach their full potential. One of the many things she loves about her position is being able to make classes not too serious as she attempts to use her sense of humor to make challenges fun for her students. She currently teaches yoga at MSU.
Cristina Chiotti

Cristina Chiotti

Cristina is the health educator at the Office of Health Advancement, as well as a passionate fitness professional with years of experience operating a boutique personal training business. She is an avid rock climber, animal lover, reader, and cook. She believes in a holistic approach to health and fitness, and emphasizes the importance of core strength in her classes to promote injury prevention and total body wellness & balance.

Amber Long

Amber Long, M.Ed. is currently the Associate Vice President for Student Wellness at Montana State University. She prides herself on creating welcoming, inclusive and motivational fitness classes. She intentionally designs her classes to be friendly for first time attendees and challenging for hard core enthusiasts by offering a variety of exercise choices. Amber believes that exercise is medicine and encourages people to move their body in a way that suits their unique physical, mental and emotional needs.

Shelby

Shelby Hall

Shelby is an ACE certified personal trainer in functional weight lifting. "Every single thing we do with our body requires energy and strength and I want to help you to learn your body and give it the abilities it needs to live life to its fullest potential, in whatever way that looks like for you!" Additionally, she trains clients through her business, "Fitness by Shelby" or on her ranch. Shelby Hall has degree in Natural Resource Management. Shelby moved to Bozeman to restore a family ranch.

Adrianna

Adrianna Orsini

Adrianna was born and raised in California with a big family. She is a strength trainer, marketing specialist, and the fitness assistant. She has a passion for fitness due to her older brothers' interests in sportS. She played soccer for almost 10 years and cheered for another 5 years. Due to a major injury, she was forced to quit sports which led to her passion of strength training. She is a certified personal trainer through NASM. outside of the gym, her hobbies consist of being active in other ways such as hikes, walks, and swimming.

Tana

Tana Meyer

Tana is a Registered Dietitian with Student Health Services at Montana State University. She is also an avid runner, mountain biker and skier. She believes that moving your body in ways you enjoy is an important part of any day to help improve your overall wellbeing. Tana currently teaches the core and restore class at MSU.

Payton

Payton Cantu

Payton is an undergraduate studying community health at Montana State University. She has been weight training for 8 years and have competed in weight training competitions throughout her high school career. she loves fitness because it is her therapy. She uses fitness as a de-stressing tool in her daily life and it is one of her favorite things to do! When she is not at the gym or school, she is usually back home at her family’s ranch or enjoying the outdoors that Montana provides!

I believe using the word movement, as opposed to "working out" as a simpler way to describe the healthy ways that we can enage our bodies and mins to increase our well-being. I want to help clients find forms of movement that they can consistently perform and that make their individual bodies and mind feel good. This is my goal as a coach. I'm here to facilitate and environment where you as a participant  can try new things, meet your fitness goals and embrace the beauty of your physical capabilities; this is the best way to find your passion in and out of the gym!

Kylee Carpenter

Kylee is a nutrition and dietetics student here at MSU and has a goal to become a registered dietitian. Kylee is very passionate about nutrition and believes that good nutrition paired with exercise is one of the keys to a happier life! Kylee is so stoked to help teach group fitness and help others build the muscular strength they need to meet the challenges of everyday life. As a wife and a mother, in her time outside of work and school, Kylee enjoys playing with her kids, going on dates with her husband, cookig and eating good food and spending time in nature.

Zach Akin

Zach is a fellow Montana state student, studying community health.As a passionate fitness enthusiast and certified yoga instructor, he is dedicated to helping you embark on a transformative journey towards a healthier and happier you. encompassing not only physical strength but also mental well-being. His sessions are designed to not only challenge your body but also inspire and motivate you to push beyond your limits.  A 200-hour YTT provides him with a strong background, to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to guide you through your fitness goals. He is  committed to providing you with the support, encouragement, and expertise needed to transform your body and elevate your well-being.

 

Jenna Templeton

Jenna is an undergraduate student studying Exercise Science at MSU. Through playing sports in high school, she discovered her passion for movement and exercise; she channels that passion primarily through Ashtanga style yoga and lifting weights, but enjoys all different kinds of movement. Though she most enjoys practicing yoga in a hot room, practicing at the MSU recreation centers are a close second! Her primary goal through teaching yoga is to help people become the strongest and most grounded versions of themselves. If she's not studying or at work, she's most likely at the gym or spending time with her sorority sisters.
