Student Vaccine Availability
In April 2021, University Health Partners began receiving Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines from the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services vaccine allotment to Gallatin County. UHP Medical Services ran several student vaccination clinics April 7–12, 2021. On April 13, the CDC and FDA issued a statement on the J&J vaccine recommending a pause in using J&J vaccine while those agencies analyze a potential link to rare but serious blood clots.
At this time, UHP is not scheduling further J&J vaccination clinics and is seeking guidance from the Gallatin City-County Health Department on alternatives. If your appointment for a J&J vaccine was canceled or you are seeking to be vaccinated, please check this website daily for further updates. We also encourage you to check the GCCHD vaccine website to find additional vaccination clinics in the community.
UHP Medical Services is dedicated to the promotion and restoration of the health of eligible students at a reasonable cost.
