View of Animal Bioscience Building

Construction operations are now complete on the new Animal Bioscience Building, a 40,000 square feet 3 story building which will ultimately house the Animal and Range Sciences Department of the College of Agriculture. The building incorporates classrooms, teaching laboratories, conference rooms and offices, in addition to a glazed atrium entrance communal gathering area overlooking Mandeville Creek. The project included the realignment and naturalization of a section of Mandeville Creek with a new pedestrian bridge over the creek. Unfortunately, this brand new building also suffered in the summer hailstorm which reeked such havoc all over campus and it is currently being re-roofed with new shingles but will be complete by November 2011.
