Construction is now complete on this $4M project in April 2009. The project has been funded jointly with State building improvement funds and MSU maintenance funds, and consists of the structural and architectural renovation of the basement/first floor, full window replacement and external brickwork repairs. Work on this 100 year old building is the first phase of a larger project to restore the entire building and will eventually incorporate improved stairwells, bathrooms, a fire sprinkler system and an elevator. The elevator portion of the project is anticipated to be completed in the summer of 2011.
