Bombus centralis

The central bumble bee is fairly common throughout the Western U.S. and Canada. Workers are typically 9.5 mm to 12.5 mm long and have orange-red tips of their abdomens. Adult bumble bees forage on various flora in temperate prairies and valleys. This is a male.
