Bombus huntii

Bombus huntii is the medium-sized Hunt's bumble bee. The workers range from 11- to 14-mm long. Its nests are mostly underground. This species is mostly active in the summer and fall and can be seen throughout most of the year in the southern region. It has experienced decline in recent years but is still a commonly seen species of bumble bee.
