Lasioglossum sp.

This is a sweat bee in the genus Lasioglossum: the largest bee genus in the world with more than 1,700 species. Lasioglossum species have immense color variation. Most species nest in the ground, and some nest in rotten logs. Workers are typically 2-8 mm long.
