Alucita montana

Alucita montana, commonly called the Montana six-plume moth, has a wingspan of 11 to 16 mm. They are widespread throughout North America and adults fly in early evening or overcast conditions. The caterpillars often feed on snowberry plants in the northern part of their range and honeysuckles in the southern part.
