The main purpose of the research office is to facilitate and support the research mission within the College of Nursing. Priorities of the research office include:
- enhancing the research and scholarly environment within the College of Nursing
- facilitating interdisciplinary research opportunities for college faculty
- pre and post award services for all college faculty
- assisting junior faculty as they establish their focused programs of research
- liaison between the college and the university offices
- administering and managing the block grant program and research-related scholarships
