2024 Conference

The 3rd annual Bozeman Applied Economics Summer Conference at Montana State University is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 and Thursday, June 13, 2024. This will be a small conference bringing together researchers in varied areas of applied micro including labor, health, environmental, development, public, and agricultural economics. In addition to the presentation sessions, participants will have opportunities to explore Bozeman's beautiful surroundings.

Paper Submission portal is open January and February of each year. Paper submissions for the 2024 conference were due February 19, 2024. 

History

Since 2022, MSU's Department of Agricultural Economics & Economics, with support from MSU's Initiative for Regulation and Applied Economic Analysis, has organized a summer conference dedicated to applied economics research. Topics have included labor, health, environmental, development, public, and agricultural economics. The conference typically features 15-20 speakers over two days, in varying time formats. We thank the conference committee for their commitment to excellence in research and collaboration in the field.
