Why I'm involved: The food industry is a pretty big industry, and often is also a small family at times. When I was introduced to the projects, I became inspired by the goals of helping others be self sufficient by producing a product from existing resources. While my skill strength is mostly with baked goods, my career has provided the opportunity to experience a wide variety of food processing methods and requirements. Being able to share these experiences for the benefit of the students, and the project clients, is very rewarding as they achieve success along the way.
