The DSLA incorporates bright white light, green laser and digitally beam-steered sound array. High intensity sound and light effects are used to disorient and debilitate potential threats.

DSLA

Joint Non-Lethal Weapons Directorate (JNLWD) requested that MilTech provide a design and manufacturability review of the Distributed Sound and Light Array (DSLA). MilTech worked with Navy Dahlgren, Battle, JNLWD, NIST MEP, Penn State, and several industry partners to reduce parts count, include COTS items where possible, and simplify the design of the DSLA.
