Concert: “Godzilla Eats Las Vegas” featuring the MSU Wind Symphony and the One o’clock Jazz Band

Come and witness the spectacle of Eric Whitacre's landmark composition, "Godzilla Eats Las Vegas," as performed by the MSU Wind Symphony on Sunday, April 19th at 3:00pm in Reynolds Recital Hall. In this unique concert, performers are encouraged to play the roles of the characters in the story—including Godzilla, the Sphinx, and even an army of Elvi. The afternoon performance will also feature Ryan Matzinger and the One o'clock Jazz Band with a popular mix of standard, contemporary, and improvisational jazz.

The One o’clock Jazz and the MSU Wind Symphony consist of the most skilled student musicians at MSU representing dozens of majors and originating from all over the United States. As Montana’s largest University, Montana State attracts the top academic-achieving students in the ten-state region.

Parking at MSU is free on weekends. Admission to the concert is $5 for students and $10 for general. Tickets are available at the door.
