NCUR 2020 will bring over 4000 students to Bozeman for three days, March 26-28, 2020. We invite Bozeman businesses, organizations, and residents to join us in welcoming visitors from across the nation and around the world. MSU is providing these pages to ensure that the Bozeman community is fully informed about the conference.

NCUR 2020 sponsorships and advertising opportunities

NCUR 2020 will offer local businesses a chance to connect with over 4000 conference attendees by purchasing advertising space in the custom NCUR 2020 conference app, placing flyers or coupons in the confernce 'swag bags', or signing up to be a sponsor of the event. We will offer options to fit any marketing budget.

Welcome NCUR 2020 window badges

MSU will distribute statitc cling window badges to area businesses to help you welcome visiting students to our community. If you don't recieve your window badge by March 1, 2020, email [email protected].

Recruit top students at the NCUR 2020 Graduate and Professional Fair

NCUR 2020 will bring over 4000 high-achieving and motivated students with hands-on researcch experience to Bozeman the Graduate and Professional Fair offers area businesses and trade associations a rare face-to-face opportunity to recruit outstanding talent form across the country.

We welcome community members to attend select NCUR 2020 events on the MSU campus including student presentations and performances and exciting keynote speakers.

Student presentations

NCUR 2020 student presentations are free and open to the public. We encourage you to attend NCUR student sessions to learn about the amazing research and creative projects that students across the nation.

Keynote speakers

NCUR 2020 is proud to sponsor three plenary speakers on March 26, 27, and 28 including Astronaut, Dr. Mae Jemison, and National Insitutes of Health leader Dr. Olivia Oliveros. The Bozeman community is invited to attend these ticketed events. Plan ahead to reserve a seat. More informaiton on reserving tickets will be posted spring 2020. 

Volunteer for NCUR 2020

NCUR 2020 will need hundreds of volunteer students, faculty, staff, and community members to make the conference a success. If you or your organization is interested in participating please sign up through the NCUR 2020 Sign Up Genius page.  


Opportunities for Educators and Students

NCUR 2020 will offer a wealth of opportunities for high-school teachers to enrich the curriculum in any subject. 

Oral and poster sessions, performances, and gallery shows showcasing undergraduate projects in all disciplines are open to the public. Class attendance at keynote presentations can be arranged by request ([email protected]).

Community Impacts

Bringing more than 4000 students to town will, inevitably, impact the daily routine of Bozeman businesses and residents. MSU is committed to working with the community to minimize the negative side effects and ensure that the conference is a great experience for our guests and for all members of the Bozeman community.

Traffic

Most NCUR 2020 students will not drive to the conference so impacts on traffic shoudl be minimal. However, shuttle busses will be operating between Bozeman hotels and the MSU campus on three routes: N. 19th,  N. 7th, and downtown. Shuttles will operate 6:30 am - 10:30 am and 2:30 pm - 6:30 pmon Thursday

Parking at MSU

Parking on campus will be restricted with parts of the South Fieldhouse and Stadium lots used for conference parking and transportation. Watch this space for NCUR 2020 parking maps.
