The College of Education, Health and Human Development is committed to helping people at every stage of life through education, research and outreach programs in Montana and beyond. Students in the college pursue careers in education, school and mental health counseling, family and consumer sciences, health promotion, food and nutrition, and exercise science.

Through the use of a one-of-a-kind, custom-built ergo meter, Dr. Dan Heil, an exercise physiologist in Health and Human Development, is studying the relationship of upper body power and ski pole design.  His research is being used by Bozeman Ski Foundation and the Montana State University Nordic ski racing team.

Testing Center

The Montana State University Testing Service provides a wide range of academic and professional exams to students and the public. The service provides both computerized and paper examinations. All tests must be scheduled in advance.

Last year the Testing Office gave out over 2000 tests!
