In addition to the fantastic academic support services that Montana State University has to offer, there are a number of great clubs and organizations, research opportunities and extra-curricular opportunities for Native Students

American Indian Council: The AIC is great place to meet fellow native students, receive tutoring, get involved with the annual Pow-wow, and a home away from home.

Montana Apprenticeship Program (MAP): MAP is a structured, six-week, hands on summer research experience for both students and teachers under the direction of active science research mentors at Montana State University-Bozeman. The goal of the MAP is to increase the number of Native American and disadvantaged high school students who want to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math career fields.

Bridging Tribal Colleges to MSU (BRIDGES): The program's objective is to build a seamless educational experience between the five reservation-based colleges and Montana State University.

Designing Our Community (DOC): For Native American students in engineering, engineering technology and computer science in the northern Rockies and the northern Great Plains regions; to be a successful partner with Native American communities in developing the future workforce.

American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES): The AISES mission is to increase substantially the representation of American Indian and Alaskan Natives in engineering, science and other related technology disciplines.
