Info Sessions
Employer Information Sessions at Montana State University
Career, Internship & Student Employment Services often invite employers to host Information Sessions on campus to recruit MSU Bobcats for career and internship opportunities and to offer information about their company and its organizational culture.
This is an opportunity to spend 45-50 minutes to:
- Connect with recruiters
- Grow your professional network
- Gain inside knowledge about the organization, its culture, and its employees
- Learn about the career and internship positions
- Understand where these positions fit within the organization
- Identify whether the company is a good fit for your goals
Attending an Information Session provides an opportunity to demonstrate that you have a sincere interest in connecting with the company and learning more about who they are and what they do. Attending an Information Session also can provide valuable anecdotes for your cover letters, as well as talking points during an interview. All in all, attending an Information Session can help you to be more informed, prepared, and thoughtful as you develop your career plan.
