ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION

Bicycles

Bicycle racks will be located in the fields across from the East Boulevard. Please be sure to bring a lock. Bicycles chained to fences, posts or anything other than a designated bike rack may be removed.

Uber/Lyft

The Uber/Lyft pickup and drop-off at the parking lot near the University Police building at the corner of 7th and Kagy. Please wait until arriving at the lot before requesting your ride.

ADA

ADA preferred parking is available for sale. Please present your ADA designated ticket to the lot attendant.

ALCOHOL

Canned and draft beer will be available for purchase at multiple locations around Bobcat Stadium. Featuring Montana craft breweries, domestic bottles and draft, Whiteclaw and LOTS more! See a detailed map of where you can buy your favorites.

ATMS

There will be 9 ATMS located around the stadium. Credit Cards will also be accepted at every point of sale location to purchase alcohol, merchandise, & concessions. Please note that merchandise sales are credit or debit card only.

BANNERS & SIGNS

Cannot be larger than 18x24" and cannot include inappropriate content. No handles, poles, or wooden sticks can be attached.

CAMERAS

Small point and shoot cameras are permitted, please don’t bring larger cameras with detachable lenses. Sorry, video cameras are not permitted. Selfie sticks are also not permitted for the concert.

CARRY-INS

No outside food or beverage is allowed into the stadium.

Fans may bring in an empty water bottle to fill at  around the stadium.

No Bags are allowed into the stadium. Please leave bags, purses, backpacks, fanny packs at home or in your vehicle. Small clutch purses smaller than 4.5” x 6.5” and medically necessary bags will be permitted.

Foldable stadium seats are permitted and will be inspected, however, please be prepared that people may be standing around you for the duration of the concert.

No beach balls or selfie sticks will be permitted for the concert.

There are no locations to leave prohibited items outside the stadium.  Items that are left unattended outside of gates will be thrown away.

CONCERT LIGHTS

Strobes, lasers, motion lighting and pyrotechnics will be used throughout the show.

CONCESSIONS

Great food is available for purchase all around the stadium. Cash and Credit Card is accepted at all stands! See a map of all retail operations at Bobcat Stadium.

FIELD ACCESS

Anyone with a SANDBAR ticket MUST ENTER in the designated lines at GATE 8. Ticket holders will receive the appropriate wristband needed to access the field and enter the sandbar area. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Anyone with a FIELD section ticket must obtain a field access wristband to access the field section seating. After scanning your ticket at GATE 8 you will be directed to the wristbanding station.  Each individual must be present and have a field seating area ticket in hand. 

All access to the floor and sandbar will take place through the field tunnel located at GATE 8.

We recommend allowing yourself enough time to get your wristband and get to your seat in time for the show. Remember to join us starting at 4:00pm at the XL Country Pre-Show party near Gate 8!

GATES

Gates to the seating area will open at 5 p.m. The concert is scheduled to start at 6 p.m.

Join XL Country beginning at 4pm! The XL Country Kenny Chesney Pre Show Party will be set up over by Gate 8, right next to the Plaza.

When entering Bobcat Stadium, please be sure to allow for extra time for screening process, finding seats, buying merchandise, and getting your wristband (if you have field seats or Sandbar seats).

There are three major gates at Bobcat Stadium. GATE 5, GATE 8, & GATE 14. Avoid long lines by utilizing the gate listed on your ticket which is nearest to your seating section. Reminder, all sandbar and field tickets need to enter at GATE 8.

All attendees will be required to go through fan screening which includes walking through metal detectors. Reminder, no bags are allowed.

LOST AND FOUND

All items will be taken to the guest services booth under Section 104 during the show. If items are not picked up before the end of the show, please check with the following:

  • Lost keys, wallets, & credit cards will be taken to MSU Police Station. Please call 406-994-2121
  • Lost coats, hats, & non-valuable items will be taken to MSU Sports Facilities. Please call 406-994-7117

MERCHANDISE

All merchandise sales will be cashless. Please be prepared to pay with a debit or credit card. Merchandise for Kenny Chesney sells out quickly, so make sure to buy early!

PARKING

Parking lots will open at 1 p.m.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase preferred parking in advance of the show day. Parking can be purchased through the Bobcat Ticket Office and online thru July 8th.

If you bought a preferred parking pass, please drive to your designated lot and you will then be directed by staff.

PRE-SHOW PARTY

Join XL Country beginning at 4pm! The XL Country Kenny Chesney Pre Show Party will be set up over by Gate 8, right next to the Plaza. There will be multiple food trucks, beverage and beer stands, plus, tons of Kenny Chesney merchandise for you to purchase. They’ll be giving away a guitar from Music Villa that will be signed by Kenny Chesney, Old Dominion, and Carly Pearce to the person showing the most Kenny Chesney pride!

SCREENING

RE-ENTRY

There is no re-entry at concerts at MSU. However, in case of emergency, exceptions may apply. Please ask staff for assistance.

SAFETY

For your safety and those around you, we ask that you keep the aisles clear. Do not stand on seats. Standing on seats is very dangerous and will not be allowed by security.

SMOKING / TOBACCO

Montana State University is a tobacco free campus. Smoking, including Vaporizers and E cigarettes, is prohibited throughout the stadium. There are no designated smoking areas within the stadium.

TAILGATING

The preferred parking lots at Bobcat Stadium will open at 1 p.m. This is much different than attending a Bobcat football game. You will be assigned a single parking space limited to the area immediately behind your vehicle. Keep in mind that gates to the stadium will open at 5 p.m. and the concert is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. 

TICKETS

Reminder – All previously purchased tickets will be honored for this show, you do NOT need to have tickets reprinted.

Please check www.ticketswest.com for ticket availability. The Ticket Office will be open 9am-5pm on July 5th – 8th at the North Entrance of the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. On Saturday, July 9th, the ticket office will be open at Bobcat Stadium at 9am and remain open until Kenny Chesney takes the stage.

TRAFFIC

We advise planning your route to Bobcat Stadium. Access to the White and Gold preferred parking lots are best to utilize 19th Ave to Lincoln or Kagy Blvd. To access the Blue preferred parking lot you will need to utilize 7th Avenue. KAGY BLVD BETWEEN 11th and 7th AVE WILL BE CLOSED FROM 6AM ON SAT JULY 9th  – 6AM ON SUN JULY 10th.

WEATHER

Check the weather and dress appropriately. In the case of rain, umbrellas are not allowed into the stadium. The event will go on rain or shine. Flat shoes are recommended. The field cover can be uneven to walk on with heels or flip flops. 

WILL CALL

Will Call will be located at the Stadium Ticket Office on the day of show. Those picking up tickets will be required to present a picture ID.
