MSU to host Oct. 8 grand opening for Bobcat Athletic Complex

The community will have an opportunity to see the completed facility at its grand opening at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8. The event includes an open house, where attendees may view the building, its amenities and more.

Bobcat fans encouraged to ‘Pack the Place in Pink’ at Oct. 23 football game

MSU and Bobcat Athletics are encouraging fans to participate in the third annual "Pack the Place in Pink" event at the Oct. 23 home football game to promote breast cancer awareness.

MSU homecoming pep rally set for Oct. 8

MSU and the Downtown Bozeman Association will host a homecoming pep rally on Friday, Oct. 8. Music will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the pep rally at 6:30 p.m. The festivities will take place on Main Street at its intersection with Willson Avenue.

Nursing professor Laura Larsson to open Provost’s Lecture Series on Oct. 12

MSU's 2021-22 Provost's Distinguished Lecture Series will begin Tuesday, Oct. 12 with a lecture on community health in Montana's rural communities from Laura Larsson, a professor in MSU's College of Nursing.

MSU economist publishes research on agricultural labor and COVID-19

An MSU economist recently published two articles in respected economic journals examining influencing factors and impacts of seasonal agricultural labor.

College of Letters and Science poster slam set for Oct. 8

Students from the College of Letters and Science at Montana State University will participate in a poster slam on Friday, Oct. 8, from 4 to 5 p.m. in Ballroom A of the Strand Union Building. The poster slam is free and open to the public.

The MSU Alumni Foundation invites Bobcat fans to participate in Homecoming Selfies

Participants are encouraged to post their selfies to social media using the hashtag #MSUSelfie21.

MSU researcher receives award for innovative use of plant materials

Dilpreet Bajwa received the 2021 Outstanding Researcher Award from the Association for the Advancement of Industrial Crops, an international, nonprofit educational and scientific organization.
