RULES:

  1. Plant press must be homemade.
  2. Range management collection - exhibitor must collect, press, mount, identify and place in a binder.
  3. Unless otherwise specified, plants may be native, exotic or introduced.
  4. Binder may or may not be used from year to year.
  5. Judging to be based on: Binder - 10% - Plant I.D. and Mounting - 90%.

  2. Collection of (minimum of 10) range plants which must include five (5) grasses, two (2) forbs and one (1) shrub. (2 optional plants).  Only part l of label must be filled out.
  3. Collection of (minimum of 30) range plants - - (2nd year range or above). Plants collected in Lot 2 can be added but no duplications are allowed.

To exhibit in this category, you must be currently enrolled in Introduction to Range Management (6401).
