About Us

The Bounty of the Bridgers Campus Food Pantry provides supplemental and emergency food assistance to students, faculty, staff, and family members at no cost. Find our current food pantry hours here.

The food pantry started as an initiative led by students in 2017, and has since grown to a full program housed within the Basic Needs.

Along with the food pantry, the Bounty of the Bridgers program now also supports Food Security Scholarships, a meal-plan scholarship offered by Montana State University's 9 Colleges to students who are food insecure, the Cat in the Bag Food Closet for Gallatin College East students, and serves as a pickup locations for Harvest of the Month items and recipes!

Bounty of the Bridgers FAQ

Any MSU student, faculty, staff, or family member can use the food pantry and related services.

No. When you arrive, we will ask you three questions verbally:

  • Are you affiliated with MSU in some capacity?
  • How many people are in your household? (This question is for state reporting purposes.)
  • Is this your first time using the food pantry?

As frequently as needed! We do not limit customers to a set number of visits or to a set amount of food per visit. If the food pantry becomes your long-term primary source of food, however, we may suggest looking into other resources such as SNAP

At 1102 S. 6th Ave., right across the street from the American Indian Hall. See the location section for more details.
In the driveway directly in front of the pantry door. See the parking section for more information and an image.
