Founded in 1897, the prestigious Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest, largest, and most selective all-discipline honor society, with 300 chapters in the U.S., Puerto Rico and the Philippines. Today, more than $700,000 is awarded annually to qualifying members and non-members through fellowships and other awards programs.

The mission of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi is to promote the pursuit of excellence in all fields of higher education and to recognize outstanding achievement by students, faculty and others through election to membership and through various awards for distinguished achievement. The Society is convinced that in recognizing and honoring those persons of good character who have excelled in scholarship, in whatever field, it will stimulate others to strive for excellence.
