STRIDE Workshop on Faculty Recruitment for Diversity and Excellence - April 29, 2013

On April 29th, two members of the University of Michigan ADVANCE STRIDE* Committee visited MSU to present a workshop on Faculty Recruitment for Diversity and Excellence. This presentation was designed to provide information and advice about practices that will maximize the likelihood that diverse, well-qualified candidates for faculty positions will be identified and, if selected for offers, successfully recruited. The workshop provides both background information and concrete advice about practices that make searches more successful in producing diverse candidate pools and hiring the candidates you want to attract.
