The University recognizes the importance of its trusted role as the custodian of personal information and strives to preserve the privacy and confidentiality of legally protected personal information it acquires or creates in the course of University business.  To demonstrate this commitment the University has created the Privacy Program.

The Privacy Program: 

  • Champions the issue of Privacy within the University

  • Provides awareness of policy and laws addressing the privacy of protected information

  • Promotes data security through proper stewardship

  • Offers education on privacy concepts and compliance

  • Establishes a Data Governance Board to oversee the Privacy function
