Publication Opportunity

We encourage students to submit their research or creative projects for archiving in the Scholar Works database. Scholar Works is a searchable academic database (non-peer review) maintained through the MSU Library. Students who submit research onto Scholar Works may decide to include this as a non-peer reviewed publication on a CV (curriculum vitae) when applying to graduate school.

Examples of materials that you can upload include, but are not limited to:

  • An electronic version of your poster presentation form the Research Celebration
  • A 5 to 10 page report in the format of a journal article detailing your results
  • A video of your film project. Please deliver to USP on disk or USB drive.
  • Images of your creative project (gif, jpg, png)

Uploading your project materials for archiving in Scholar Works is optional. We encourage you to consult with your mentor as you consider contributing materials. Please note that the Scholar Works database is accessible to the public.

Allowed file extension for upload include: gif, jpg, png, doc, docx, pdf. The delivery of other file types should be coordinated with [email protected].
