Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies courses taught: WS 301: Capstone Seminar in Women & Gender Studies, SPNS 350 US Latino Cultures

Research interests: Professor Kevane’s areas of specialization are Latina/o literature, history, and culture.  She teaches and writes on history and culture of Latino communities in the United States.  She also focuses on Cuban, Dominican, Puerto Rican and Mexican American writers, music, spirituality, cinema, etc.  She is fascinated by Latina literature, Chicanismos, gender and the border, Caribbean Latina literature.
