To work to develop and foster the implementation of an action plan designed to increase civic engagement and voter participation among the student body of Montana State University.

Make your voice heard!
Decisions made at the Montana legislature determine the cost of tuition, the quality
of facilities, the pay of professors and a host of other issues important to students.
This makes the student voice incredibly important to ensure quality higher education
in Montana. Students can play a powerful role in the legislature by joining the ASMSU
Legislative Committee which create the opportunity for students to come together and
present an organized message.The committee is made up of any interested students.
It's a great way to get involved and informed about the issues facing MSU and higher
education in the state of Montana. The committee tracks upcoming bills of interest,
interfaces with University and government officials, and works with the student lobbyist,
a student paid to live in Helena and lobby for MSU student interests during the legislative
