Vice President of Agriculture Candidate Open Forum: Dr. Sreekala Bajwa

Five finalists from regional universities will interview for MSU’s vice president of agriculture position from Oct. 22 – Oct. 30.
Since 2012, Bajwa has served as the chair of the department of agricultural and biosystems engineering at North Dakota State University. She is a highly regarded researcher in the area of precision agriculture, and provides regional and national leadership for research and education in this area. She has been the lead investigator or co-investigator on 45 funded grant projects, totaling over $19 million. Bajwa received her bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering from Kerala Agricultural University in India, her master’s degree in agricultural engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur in India and her doctorate of agricultural engineering from the University of Ilinois at Urbana-Champaign.
A reception for Bajwa will be held from 5 – 6 p.m. in the hallway of room 16 in Linfield Hall.
The interviews will be held on Oct. 22 – Oct. 30 on campus. As part of that visit to campus, each finalist will hold an open forum with faculty and staff, in addition to an open reception of the day of their visit. The finalists' CVs can be found at:
