In Your Light: Contemporary Music for Choir

We are hoping to see you at the Aoide Chamber Singer's spring recital with special guest conductor Dr. David Edmonds from the University of Montana for a program titled In Your Light: Contemporary Music for Choir on Sunday, March 29 at 3:00 PM in Holy Rosary Parish (220 W Main St, Bozeman, Montana 59715.) Admission is free. Bring friends and family for an afternoon of stunning contemporary music for choir.The Aoide Chamber Singers are a 21 voice student-organized ensemble based on the campus of Montana State University-Bozeman. Aoide was founded in the fall of 2012 by Andrew Major, a Bozeman-native studying Music and Cell Biology/Neuroscience. Aoide's repertoire ranges from Gregorian chant through contemporary literature and spirituals andAoide has performed across the state at high schools and and in venues such as the Cathedral of St. Helena in our capital, St. Francis Xavier in Missoula, and Holy Rosary of Bozeman. This program features works of living composers from places across Europe and America including Latvia, Estonia, Norway, the United Kingdom, and America, and explores the wealth of new music for written for choir.
