Outdoor Skills class for Adults: Geologic Features

Hands-on outdoor science skills from MSU Extended University and the Montana Outdoor Science School!
Explore the rock cycle in an hands-on way and come out of the class able to identify the basic rock types: sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic. Interact with varying rock samples to better understand the geologic processes that have shaped the Earth in this introductory course. The series will focus on the rock cycle, major rock types, and the geologic features as a primer for being able to identify rock types in your backyard.
