Dr. Luther Talbert will give a talk titled "Breeding Wheat Varieties for a Changing Climate" on Wednesday, Jan. 24 at noon in Barnard Hall Room 126.
Dr. Talbert is a spring wheat breeder in Montana since 1988. His research project is the leading supplier of spring wheat varieties for Montana farmers, with over 15 million acres planted since 2000. Dr. Talbert's academic research program includes a focus on genetics and molecular genetics of tolerance to heat and drought stress.
