Volunteers sought for Move-In Day on Aug. 22
Montana State University is seeking volunteers to help welcome students to campus during the 18th annual Move-In Day on Wednesday, Aug. 22.
Community and MSU volunteers will help move more than 3,000 new students into residence halls across campus.
Volunteers will be able to choose from five shifts throughout the day: 8-10 a.m., 10 a.m. to noon, noon to 2 p.m., 2-4 p.m. and 5:30-7 p.m. Volunteers must arrive 15 minutes prior to their shift.
Anyone who would like to volunteer may sign up for time slots at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b044ba4a62ba6f49-1000 or contact the MSU President’s Office at 406-994-2345.
Volunteers may select their preferred task from options that include greeting students at the curb and helping unload their vehicles, loading carts and elevators, and helping with recycling.
At signup, volunteers will also be asked for their T-shirt size. During Move-In Day, volunteers wear a free, gold MSU shirt that they receive when they report for their shifts.
Volunteer registration closes on Aug. 15. For more information, contact the MSU President’s Office at 406-994-2345.
