Four finalists for the position of senior diversity and inclusion officer at Montana State University will interview on campus Oct. 8-11.
As part of their interviews, each finalist will hold an open forum from 9 to 10 a.m. on the date of their interviews, as well as a session with faculty and staff to be held from 10:40 to 11:20 a.m. and another session with students to be held from 11:20 a.m. to noon. The finalists and locations of their open forums and faculty and staff and student sessions are:
Ariel Donohue, director and program manager of the Diversity and Inclusion Student Commons at MSU, will interview on campus Monday, Oct. 8. Donohue’s open forum, faculty and staff session and student session will be held in Ballroom C of the Strand Union Building.

Quincy Jenkins, director of Latino outreach, retention and DSC Summer Bridge at Dalton State in Dalton, Georgia, will interview on campus Tuesday, Oct. 9. Jenkins’ open forum, faculty and staff session and student session will be held in the Alumni Lounge in the SUB.

Vicki Sapp, director of student engagement, diversity and inclusion and assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, Pennsylvania, will interview on campus Wednesday, Oct. 10. Sapp’s open forum, faculty and staff session and student session will be held in Room 114 of Sherrick Hall.

Allison Davis-White Eyes, director of community diversity relations in the Office of Institutional Diversity at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, will interview on campus Thursday, Oct. 11. Davis-White Eyes’ open forum, faculty and staff session and student session will be held in Room 138 of the Animal Bioscience Building.

Sarah Shannon, chair of the search committee and dean of the MSU College of Nursing, invites students, faculty, staff and community members to participate and provide input in this phase of the search process. Individuals attending the open forums, faculty and staff sessions and student sessions may submit feedback about the finalists through an online survey. The senior diversity and inclusion officer will lead diversity and inclusion efforts at MSU. The position was recommended in MSU’s 2017 Diversity and Inclusion Framework Report, which was written after hundreds of MSU students, faculty and staff provided feedback at a series of diversity summits and charrettes.
