Homestay families needed January 14 - February 10 for Japanese college students
12 college students from Okinawa, Japan will participate in an intensive four-week program and Office of International Programs are currently looking for host families.
This program provides the students with an opportunity to improve their English skills, prepare for participation at academic conferences, and experience American culture.
The homestay is one of the highlights of this program. It gives them the opportunity to know American culture, practice English and develop confident, and experience the local Bozeman community.
Date: January 14 - February 10, 2019
As a host, it is your responsibility to provide your student with:
- A private room for sleeping and a place to hang up their clothing. Shared bathroom is also ok.
- Breakfast and dinner on weekdays, 3 meals on weekends
- Use of basic household facilities and services (phone for local calls, shower, laundry, etc);
- Transportation to and from class each day (pick-up and drop-off locations may vary from day to day, so please confirm your student’s schedule).
