Supplies for Success
- Tuesday, November 27, 2018 to Friday, December 7, 2018, at 12:00am
Supplies for Success is a school supplies drive for Bozeman middle schools. Each winter holiday season, Supplies for Success sets up donation bins across the Montana State University campus to gather donations of school supplies. All school supplies are donated directly to the middle schools in the area: including Chief Joseph and Sacajawea middle school.
Though school supplies are abundant during the beginning of a school year, they start to run low as the academic year continues. Furthermore, it is unfair to put the burden on teachers who often spend their own money on school supplies to ensure their students succeed. According to Time magazine, the average educator spends $500 of their own money per year on education materials for their students.
