Wanted: Adventurous Undergraduates from All Fields of Study!
MSU undergraduates from all areas of study are invited to attend an information session on a faculty led study abroad service learning opportunity to Uganda.
For over two decades, volunteers from AIDSpirit USA (http://www.aidspirit.org/), which has its home in Billings, have been traveling to Uganda to educate children and adults, develop sustainable agricultural practices, deliver medical support and veterinary services, develop business enterprises, and provide engineering and construction assistance to the children of Tender Mercies Home and the people Kayunga District, Uganda.
AIDSpirit’s presence in and importance to the people of Uganda has grown tremendously over the years—so much so that more people are needed to ensure that AIDSpirit’s mission in Uganda can continue.
AIDSpirit USA has an inspirational vision to include MSU undergraduates, the future leaders of our increasingly connected world, to become part of its efforts this summer (May 6-25, 2018) in Uganda.
MSU undergraduates are invited to be part of this powerful change that is happening on an international level. This faculty led study abroad opportunity is your chance to practice leadership and community development in your particular area of study even as you work toward your undergraduate degree.
Plan on coming to a campus-wide informational meeting to find out more about joining Leadership Fellows Certificate Program faculty and traveling to Uganda to practice leading positive social change and community development.
Thursday, December 6, in Reid 223, 3-4 PM. Reservations not needed.
