Have you ever been frustrated with a roommate, friends, family member, or professor but didn’t know how to communicate your feelings? At “Finding Your Voice,” we will explore effective and ineffective communication strategies and how culture influences how we express ourselves. We will explore how to “find our voice” when encountering potentially difficult conversations. We’ll have time to learn effective communication strategies, as well as small group discussion to work on practical ways to apply what we have learned.
Presented by a collaboration of Counseling and Psychological Services, TRIO Student Support Services, EMPower, and American Indian/Alaska Native Student Success. Food will be provided.
