AMC 8: American Mathematics Contest for Middle Schoolers

The Department of Education's Science Math Resource Center will host a mathematics competition for middle schoolers on the Montana State University campus on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
This competition is free, and cash prizes will be awarded.
The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute mathematics exam designed to promote the development and enhancement of problem-solving skills.
The Science Math Resource Center will award $100 to the first place student; $75 for second; and $50 for third. A $25 youth prize will go to the top performer in sixth grade or below.Students through 8th grade are eligible to compete. Registration is free and open until all slots have been filled.
