Outreach opportunity: Science Olympiad Talks & Tours on Nov. 26
The Montana Science Olympiad seeks faculty, staff and graduate students who want to share their work with middle and high school students via the event's popular "Talks and Tours" program.
On Nov. 26, the Science Olympiad will bring 1,400 students and their teachers to campus for a rigorous statewide STEM competition. After students have finished their contests, Talks & Tours allow them to visit MSU labs and classrooms or learn about research and creative activities happening at the university.
Talks and Tour leaders set how many students they can accommodate. All Talks and Tours take place between 1pm and 2pm on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
In 2019, the Science Olympiad is recognizing the Year of Undergraduate Research, and groups that feature undergraduate researchers are particularly encouraged to participate.
