Community-Engaged Scholarship Forum -- Integration of Education and Service

The Western Transportation Institute (WTI) is hosting a Community-Engaged Scholarship Forum on November 14, 2019 in Inspiration Hall from 10am to 1pm (includes lunch).The event will kick off with a pecha kucha to showcase community-based projects that students are involved with from across campus through course-based project work. The pecha kucha presentations will be followed by two national invited guest speakers: Jane Rogan, Director of Indiana University's ‘Sustaining Hoosier Communities’ (SCP) program and Branden Born co-directs the University of Washington’s Livable City Year (LCY) Program. The event will conclude with a lunch and opportunity for faculty and invited community representatives from surrounding public agencies to network.
