The talk will explore common psychological and emotional issues confronting today's college students, describe responses by universities to the increased demand for services on college campuses, and offer a review of best practices for providing mental health care to college students.
The talk is co-sponsored by the Center for Mental Health Research & Recovery and the Office of the Vice-President of Research, Economic Development, and Graduate Education. A reception, sponsored by Vice-President Dr. Jason Carter will begin at 6 pm; the talk will follow at 7 pm.
