This talk will focus on the importance of controlling our attention and problems that occur when there are breakdowns in such control.
Dr. Hutchison is Professor and Chair of the Psychology department and Associate Editor for the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, & Cognition. He received his Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany and served a 2-year postdoctoral research fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. His research focuses on the interplay between attention, memory, and language in young adults, older adults, and individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. RSVP:
