Homestay families needed January 12 - February 8 for Japanese college students
11 college students from Naha Nikkei Vocational School in Okinawa, Japan will participate in an intensive four-week program at MSU and the Office of International Programs is currently looking for host families.
This program provides the students with an opportunity to improve their English skills, prepare for academic advancement, and experience American university life.
The homestay is one of the highlights of this program. It gives the students an opportunity to develop confidence in speaking English and experience what it is like to be a part of the local Bozeman community.
Date: January 12 - February 8, 2020
As a host, it is your responsibility to provide your student with:
- A private room for sleeping and a place to hang up their clothing. Shared bathroom is also ok.
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the program.
- Use of basic household facilities and services (phone for local calls, shower, laundry, towels, etc)
- Transportation to and from MSU campus each day.
If you are interested in being a host (or need more information) please contact Makiko Diehl at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
