Starting a business can be difficult. But starting a food business can be even more challenging with navigating regulatory requirements and making sure the food being manufactured is safe for all consumers. This course is designed to give food industry start-ups a path to commercialization, introducing an overview of topics that may lead to further required training. It is aimed at anyone who is interested in manufacturing food for sale or has just started a food manufacturing company. This includes but is not limited to dairy, dry mixes, fruits and vegetables, desserts, sauces, salsas, meats, perishables, shelf stable, frozen foods, and much more. *It is not intended for preparing and serving foods in a restaurants type setting.
