Diversity - DIV100 Exploring Cultural Identity

Overview: In this workshop, participants will learn about the ADDRESSING and Big 10+ models of cultural identity. Participants will have an opportunity to reflect and apply these models to understand more about themselves as well as others. The concept of cultural humility is also introduced with opportunity to practice these skills during the workshop.
Why you should attend: This workshop provides people with an introduction to cultural identity models and the opportunity to explore and expand their awareness of their own cultural identity and that of others. It also provides participants with opportunities to connect with others related to their cultural backgrounds while developing skills in cultural humility to aid in discussing diversity topics.
