New Year, New You!
It's possible with the help of Toastmasters! It's time to up your game in 2020 with improved communication skills. Start the year working on your confidence and learning to speak in a way that entices people to listen.
What are your resolutions for 2020? If you made a resolution to become more confident, improve your public speaking/presentation/leadership skills, make new friends, or try something different, then come check out Mountains and Minds Toastmasters.
A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a no-pressure atmosphere.
There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting. Instead, members evaluate one another's presentations. This feedback process is a key part of the program's success.
Meeting participants also give impromptu talks on assigned topics, conduct meetings and develop skills related to timekeeping, grammar, and parliamentary procedure.
All faculty, staff, students and community are welcome. It's a great supportive environment to strengthen leadership skills and communicate with confidence. Meet new people, make new friends.
