Culinary - 2020 Montana ProStart Invitational

BOZEMAN — Montana State University hospitality management and Gallatin College MSU culinary arts program, in partnership with the Montana Restaurant Association Education Foundation, will once again host a culinary competition for high school students on March 5-6. The management competition will take place March 5 and the culinary competition and awards ceremony on March 6.
The 2020 Montana ProStart Invitational will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, and the awards ceremony will begin at 3:30 p.m. on March 6. All events will take place in Hannon Hall on MSU’s campus. The community is welcome to attend and observe the competition and awards ceremony.
ProStart is an industry-backed culinary arts and restaurant management program for high school students. There are more than 21 Montana high schools with more than 990 students involved in the program, according to ProStart. Students from seven high schools from across the state will participate in the competitions.
