Matt Notowidigdo: The Economic Consequences of Bankruptcy Reform

Matt Notowidigdo, associate professor of economics at Northwestern University, will present "The Economic Consequences of Bankruptcy Reform," as part of the DAEE Academic Research Seminar Series. The lecture will be held from 3:15-4:45 p.m. on Friday, March 6, in Linfield Hall, Room 406.
Notowidigdo is associate professor in the Department of Economics at Northwestern University. He is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for Labor Studies, a Faculty Fellow at the Institute for Policy Research, a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economics Research and a consultant for the Boston Red Sox. Notowidigdo's research focuses on a wide range of topics related to how public policy intersects with the economics of healthcare, where he has studied the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid expansions and medical bankruptcy. His research has been published in top economics journals.
