Scott Wilson Thesis Defense Presentation
- Friday, April 24, 2020 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm
Clinical movement screens are used in athletic and clinical settings as a measure of strength, stability and neuromuscular control. Performance on these tests is also often used as an evaluation of injury risk. The Y-Balance Test (YBT), a commonly used movement screen, has been related to injury risk in a variety of athletic populations. However, to our knowledge, no studies have examined the relationship between YBT performance and running mechanics previously linked to injury.
M.S. in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences student, Scott Wilson, will present "The Y-Balance Test: An Evaluation of the Relationships Between Performance, Running Mechanics and Fatigue" on Friday, April 24th at 1:00pm. The public is welcome to attend this presentation from 1:00 to 2:30pm. Chair: Dr. James Becker.
